Working for DMK Potential
DMK Potential has regular opportunities for people to get involved in the work of our charity. With a variety of roles from long-term paid opportunities to short term contracts and volunteering opportunities, there's something for everyone. We want you to be a part of our journey to support young people, by amplifying their voices, empowering them to take action in their communities, and providing them with or signposting them towards the opportunities that can allow them to do this effectively.
We're a flexible organisation which works to ensure that our team are happy and comfortable with their roles in the organisation. All paid roles are paid at least the Real Living Wage and we aim to be upfront and transparent about contract terms and pay rates.
All DMK Potential roles are based on working from home, communicating with team members digitally and meeting in person a few times a year for team days, and opportunities to get to know colleagues.
We especially encourage applications for our roles from those who are from groups which are under-represented in our organisation and the wider youth sector. We’re totally committed to equality of opportunity for all. We welcome applications from individuals regardless of their age, disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.
Recruitment at DMK Potential
All vacancies will be advertised on this page and the links below are to our recruitment portal where you can find more information on the opportunities as well as details on how to apply, which is by application form including a personal statement based on a prompt which is relevant to the role, and a record of paid, voluntary and educational experience.
Applications are anonymised before being shortlisted and invitation to interview is based solely on the application form and its relevance to the role and the person specification which is set out in the role profile.
At interview, we aim to create an open space for us to find out more about you, and for you to find out more about the charity and the role you are applying for. Assessment is again based solely on suitability for the role and we aim to have a quick turnaround process at each stage.
